Pidcock Honda has closed down

Shame really, I've bought numerous Hondas from them over the years.  Given that I bought the 3 year pre-paid service plan from Honda, I guess that leaves me using an alternative dealer.  Fortunately, there's another one locally.

Well, they are sure to have enough bikes in the workshop, dealing with BMW and Triumph issues ;-)

It seemed a little odd to me too.  The Honda place was a massive out of town industrial unit, which to be honest never seemed to be very busy.  However, they’ve moved their Triumph dealer out there now, so it can’t be the location which was their problem.

I have never been able to make a deal work with Piddocks, trade part ex way out. That said it was always handy having 3 Honda dealers within 20 miles of home.
Have to agree, dumping Honda over the other two brands doesn’t make sense. Maybe the warranty repair rates are higher with Triumph and BMW. Better than a Lottery win.

Not sure how they’ve been able to hang on to the Montesa franchise.

Interesting you say that becasue when I traded my GS for the Crosstourer, Pidcock's Honda was by far and away the best p/x - £1,000 more than Pidcock's Triumph, for example!

It was the other way round for me £1000.00 less on my Fazer than Suttons in Tamworth. Like I said, it's a shame to lose Piddcocks as it was easy to get 3 price comparisons without having to travel to far.

I was thinking of selling the Pan and banking the cash until the new Tourer based on the TC arrives, then again maybe I would get a better trade in price than discount for cash. Honda don't seem to be able to deal on new bikes.
