deal on tyres
on: January 22, 2013, 09:26:47 PM
Hi, Just spoke to a tyre dealer in Northern Ireland and they have a deal on the old Dunlop "Roadsmart" tyres ( they have been superseded by the ll version which promises 10% more life) in our 110/80/19 and 150/70/17 size at £165 stg a set. I have used these previously on a trailie and found them top rate and have a set in waiting for my CT.
They also showed me a set on Michelin "pilot road 3 Maxitrail" which have been just been launched specifically for our style of bike. Beautiful looking tyre but a tad pricey for me at £230 stg a set. They deliver all over UK and Ireland. you will find them under "the visor shop".
I am in no way connected with the shop other than a good customer.  :027:

You are indeed correct Scotsy, But he told me at the counter £165 so may'be a phone call is needed to confirm this price. They are pretty good at rotating stock to keep the dates on the side of the tyres as current as possible and seemed keen to offload these Roadsmarts.

I've just rang him at 6pm and he says he will sell them for £165 but you;ve got to be quick if you want some as there are only about 6 pairs of them left :031:

I ordered a pair and paid over the phone for them :305:

Thanks again for the tip-off  :047:

Jeez Scotsy, a mate can get 3000 miles from a rear on a ZX10, you must be torturing it :008:
