Just a quick note to say hello to everyone, what a great site, full of information and friendly advice.  Currently, I do not have a motorcycle and am considering the Honda Crosstourer DCT.  My past bikes include Suzuki Meanstreak, Honda VFR800, Yamaha Royal Star Venture, Kawasaki Vulkan Cruiser and Suzuki Savage!!!  :001:

The DCT Crosstourer (in any colour) would be a great choice.

Hi Joga,  :400: to the forum,

A friend of mine recently swapped his 1600 Kawasaki Meanstreak for a GSX1400 Suzuki. Although i'm not really a fan of cruisers i always lusted after the Meanstreak, especially the 2 litre version  :005: What a beast
Why the change from cruisers to a Crosstourer?

    . . . Terry

Hello Terry, thanks for the welcome, everone is very kind on this forum.  :002:

Regarding the change from cruisers, there are two main reasons for me.  The Honda DCT+C-ABS appeals to me very much, the implementation is spot on for the market, and believe will attract many more [non-bikibg] customers to take up riding.  Precise gear crunching is not for general public, most feel afraid of consequences.  The other reason is my desire to move to a lighter bike, after having ridden machines of 450+kg, with my wife as pillion for majority of riding.  Also, age is creeping up and my reactions are not the same, need some technology to help me continue riding, ha ha.  :001:

I ride in the middle-east, Saudi, UAE, Bahrain, all year round.  The Honda agent here is awaiting delivery of 2013MY bikes which include the CT.  I had a look at the DCT CT at our local agent, Blackpool Honda, while home over the Christmas period, and liked it very much.  It reminded of the time when I had the VFR800 in Saudi, a fantastic bike.  :152:
