NSW Australia fires
on: January 08, 2013, 10:19:09 PM
Just been watching the news, hard times in Australia just now with the fires raging there. Suddenly feel quite glad to have miserable weather here than go through the suffering that many are experiencing just now.

Hopefully not affecting any of the contributor's or their families on here

Yeah not good over 140 fires burning across NSW at the moment 24 still not under control to hot to ride was 43 degrees C on my back deck last night.
We are due to have a holiday on the south coast next week but will have to see as at the moment that area is ablaze and the roads are cut from north and south, cooler time next 48 hours, then by Thursday it will return to the 40's again till at least Tuesday next week so still a long road ahead for the fire fighters ... Terrible fires down under destroying peoples homes, and in the UK, homes are being ruined by floods - bad times on both sides of the planet.  :003:

I hope it gets better for everyone very soon.

Can't even imagine how 43 c feels, it must be so easy to catch fire at these highs
