Greetings from Norway
on: January 02, 2013, 08:12:03 PM
Not yet a CT owner, but seriously considering to be in short time.
40+ years old. Motorcycling for 5-6 years (mid life crisis you know)
Honda fan. Started with CBF 600F, moved on to Varadero, CBF1000F and today I have a CBR600F. Realizing I use the bike too litle, and I need a bike I use more.

Living south of Oslo. 60km with country side roads to work :-)

Tested a CT manual last year. Compared it with a Moto Guzzi Stelvio. Loved the CT, though struggle a bit with the lack of sporty look (mid life crisis again..).

Hi Bitteliten
and welcome, you will not find any negative comments here about buying a CT,its a top bike from the big H and a big step up from a Varadero.  I had a CBF1000 for a day test a few years back, It had a beautiful smooth motor and the price was good but I found it very heavy and clumsy to throw around all day, The CT is so much easier to ride all day. Hope you buy one.
Hoping to visit your country in 2013, can you tell me if any ferry companies have restarted the Norway to Britain route. Nobody covered it for the last few years.
Thanks
Thetrecker. Sometimes your the bug and sometimes your the windshield.

Thanks for warm welcomes  :002:

Only ferry between Scandinavia and UK I know about is DFDS Denmark - England. Rest of them are closed - giving possibility to do more CT milage  :008:

Hi Bitteliten,  :400:

I had a test ride on the Guzzi Stelvio last year and really liked it. I loved the character of that torquey V twin engine but it had no zip (unlike the Crosstourer).

Stelvio is for sure a fun bike. Lots of character. But the brakes are so far behind CT's. And coming from a CBRf I am used to good breaks. I know this will be different on the CT too - but hopefully I get used to it  :038:
