No problems here, either using the clutch or without  :305:

I had some gear changing problems (maybe I will be the one with "issues" lol) and what I noticed sometimes is the gear lever would not drop back down all the way after changing a gear. Mine wouldn't miss or get stuck in between, it just wouldn't change up. Now I feel for the lever to drop down, maybe put a little toe pressure on it (an upwards movement) and that makes it move down. The mechanism itself maybe set up a little too tight or maybe the lever could be adjusted down. Haven't looked at it.

eg: So once I have shifted up a gear a light touch as if going in to the next gear (but just a very light touch) on the lever for some reason brings it down. I think I do it all the time as second nature.

My bike is in bits at the mo so I will double check when she's back together.

Hi,

Time to time I have the similar problem. This happens only when changing the gear  from 5 to 6. The effect is like dropping to Neutral.  I noticed that this happens in quick changes with quick action on clutch. Then, I am now pressing firmly the clutch lever with a precise foot action.

This has been discussed previously, It improves with mileage and only affects some CT's, My brother and I bought CT's at the same time and it affects his and not mine. I think some of the fault is when taking off from 1st the tendency is to click up hard and fast for the first few gears and then tail off when 60mph is reached, by the time its suitable to select 6th say on a big  straight road,  you tend to select 6th more leisurely and here the problem arises. Try and select 6th as you would 2nd or 3rd and let us know if it improves

Can’t say I’ve had any noticeable gear change issue that I can blame on the bike, solo or with a pillion.
Is there an average speed we change up to top? For me it’s around 80.

Make sure the thickness of your boots isn't preventing the gearchange lever from falling back down into place inbetween changes. It's easily adjusted for more clearance.
Make every change a positive 'snick' into place. After the first few gears you tend to relax and do lazy changes.
