What helmet do you have?
« on: October 13, 2012, 07:02:47 PM »
My new lid has finally arrived after a 2 month order! Good job I wasn't desperate!
I hope it's ok and suits the standard small screen.  :005:
Well, I'll find out tomorrow......

I have 3 Shoeis: all three in white. A hornet, a Neotec and an XR1100. Neotec is my instruction helmet which I use on the job, the Hornet is my favorite, brilliant helmet that is and the XR1100 is for during wintertime, just a bit warmer than the Hornet.

i use a nolan lightweight flip-up for work everyday as a postie and so was really keen to go to a flip-up

bought this one (nolan n104) in a matt grey colour and love it, it's really nice to slow down into town and flip it up, plus the sunglass/visor operation is easy too

Well I tried the X4 this morning and had to turn back and get my old 'Shark' lid.
The visor misted continously and the peak wouldn't come forward enough to shield the sun.
Just had another look at it and never saw the 'Pinlock' visor insert in the box!  Doh :034:
The plastic slots on the peak hinge weren't cut out properly so no full range of movement possible! A quick trim has sorted it.
Overpriced? Mmm.....
