Givi Trekker Internal bags
« on: September 30, 2012, 06:34:00 PM »
If your thinking of getting internal bags for the Trekker Panniers, this may help you.
I fitted Trekker 33L panniers and 52L topbox. then i bought T484 internal bags, suitable for either the 33L or 46L panniers. i was packing for 5 day trip to Scottish Highlands with my wife. During the course of trying to fit everything in i started to come to conclusion that the internal bags had to be changed out. the reason being that the bag itself took up a lot of room. i ended up using to drybag rollbags as internal bags. i was able to use the full pannier getting a lot more into them. i used one of the internal Trekker bags in the topbox having spet the money on them.
Ah the joy of open road on a dry day.. Priceless!!

I agree, Givi's liner bags are not the same shape as the boxes, so packing is very inefficient.  OK for a weekend, but for a week and a bit, I just packed everything in plastic bags to maximise use of the space.

I just use my Touratech ones which do the job well and can be crushed down to size q easily

These fit quite well in the Trekkers. Even some extra space on top to access your stuff from the top pane (water, sweater, ...). Various colors available.
