Right, fitted the kit yesterday, what a faff with those short cables!! Anyway, gone with time delay relay as mentioned and set it to 20 seconds, relay fits neatly within light housing all good.
Waited until it's dark and thought I'll go collect pizzas and beer and test the lights- switched ignition on- pressed starter button- engine turned over couple of time and didn't start!
Turns out I've drained battery while checking and double checking and triple checking that the HID bulb works while installing.
Learn from my mistake- never run xenon lights off your battery alone.
Thank f..... I had battery bank/ jumper thingy and jump started bike this morning.
All in all- great strong correct beam of light, very happy so far.

Just ordered the H7C short bulbs.   Did you put the ballast under the left panel or the right panel ?
Cheers

I'll be contrary … under the right side as you sit on the bike … but tbh I am not sure it matters  :001:

Can't remember why I've chosen left side- I think there was a bit more clearance between cables/ hoses and the light bulb housing when HID kit cables are routed to the left side. Check by turning the handlebars all the way to the left and to the right before install  :821:
