Greetings fro sunny Hertfordshire
« on: September 16, 2012, 11:40:12 AM »
Hi all,

after being impressed with the bike on a test ride, I picked my CT up from the dealer yesterday.
Traded in my 09 Hayabusa which had just taken us 3,298 miles around Europe in 2 weeks, fantastic bike but
I had been experiencing comfort issues lately, possibly age related !!

The CT is so much more comfortable, I've only managed a couple of hundred miles so far but love the riding position and
the smooth power delivery.

I've got a Silver SE, plumped for the manual box as I've just got an automatic car which I hate.
R&G rear hugger fitted, with R&G bar end sliders on order awaiting delivery.

Only gripe so far is the seat height, due to me suffering with  short leg syndrome, I have enquiries underway regarding getting the seat height reduced.

Regards to all,

Munch

Like yourself I picked my bike up yesterday but have only managed 50 miles since delivery. Did manage to put 200 miles onto the dealers demonstrator when I took it out mind you!

Today has been a day of cleaning, waxing and applying Supaguard.

How did you get on fitting the R&G hugger with the main stand, take it there isn't any clearance problems? A hugger is on my to buy list at the moment

Welcome aboard!  You have made a good choice, I topped 2,000 miles this afternoon and the bike now feels well run in and is running even more smoothly than when it was new.

Hi Munch,

 :400:

Good choice (including colour & spec!); I've got just under 5,000 miles on mine now and it just gets better!
Light travels faster than sound; this is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak....
