Another New Member !!
« on: September 07, 2012, 11:32:54 AM »
Hi there everyone.  Another new member greeting you all.  :152: . Just back from taking my new CT for its first service. Those 600 miles in 5 days were an absolute pleasure.  I have been riding bikes for 43 years, and the CT is at the top of the list, of those that I have owned and ridden, which inlude, Honda - BMW - Suzuki - Moto Guzzi - Kawasaki - Yamaha - Norton - Triumph.  My bikes over the last 10 years - All Honda - VFR750 - VFR800 - CBR1100XX Blackbird.  Already fitted to the new bike, standard version.
Pyramid - Hugger, Ducktail, Fenda Extenda. Beowolf Radiator Protector. Center Stand. Touring Screen (Will possibly change !!) Trip to France next week so will see how the screen pans out. Datatool Alarm (C2-Green).  Givi Trekker Panniers & Top Box, and Quick Connect Tank Bag.  Just waiting delivery of Givi Engine Guards & Trekker Lights.
Have had a quick look at the Forum,  seems that there is some very good advice regarding parts and accessories.  Hope that I will be able to assist in some way.  Pics of - "Angry Terry".  Named by the wife !!  Wont insult anyones intelligence as to how that name was derived.
Catch you later.
S.
Keep it on the Black Stuff or Dirt - BUT - Rubber Side Down.  Else it hurts!

Hi SPW999, and welcome, looks like you are all suited up, its great to get everything fitted at once when new so you can forget about accessories and just ride! Must be a lot of bucks spent so far. Best of luck :062:

Let us know how you get on with the accessories that you have fitted after your trip. Most of the things that you have are on my list of possibles once I get my bike.

Finally a couple of pics of the Old and the New.  All I wait for now are the side deflectors, then be up and running every and any where
Great trip to France.  Found that the Honda Touring Screen on the lowest setting was good for me.  Though anything would have been better than the screen on the Blackbird even if it was a MRA Vario, which was the best that I could find.
