Aye Up from Yorkshire
« on: August 16, 2012, 12:28:56 AM »
Well after much tyre kicking, i have made the jump and purchased a Crosstourer [very nearly a XT1200z] but there was something about the Honda that the Yamaha didn't have, bit like women some we like some we don't!
Hope for delivery next week cant wait, just hope the monsoon season finishes in the UK.   :152:

Hi revenue, your profile says Thailand but you sound a true scot, welcome. I have ridden a friends Tenere and while its a nice friendly motor its not in the same power class as the CT, suppose all bikes have pros and cons but the CT's torque never ceases to impress. :821:
Thetrecker. Sometimes your the bug and sometimes your the windshield.

Good Spotting there thetrecker!!
Sorry i was in the UK when i made the post but now have returned to my home in Mukdahan in Thailand, after 3 weeks i decided the UK weather not for me, they said it would take 10 days minimum for the V5, so i needed a short holiday to Visit some friends.
But its difficult to classify myself, as i spent 35 years in the UK, 10 years in NZ and 5 years in Thailand so a bit of a mongrel i guess!!

Welcome to the club, E...how come you managed to get the bike so quickly?  Was it already in the dealership?

Safe riding my friend,

Hitty
