Hi from Belgium
« on: July 06, 2012, 10:35:54 AM »
I've been following this forum since I bought my Crosstourer in May, so I thought I'd introduce myself.

My name is Johan, 38 years old from Wichelen-Belgium. I everyday life I'm a policeman (driving a Yamaha FJR of an BMW 1200 GS) and I also have a private motorcycle advanced driving school.

Before this one i drove a KTM Adventure for 3 years. Great bike on witch I had tons of fun, but also quite a bit of frustration (broken wheelbarings, primary and secundary clutch pump, waterpump,....). 2 months ago some guy came to watch a gymkhana training and was very interested in my KTM... a half hour later it was sold  :018: so I urgently had to buy a new bike  :001:

I tested the Crosstourer and the Explorer. I loved the Crosstourer most and the dealer (walking distance from my home) got me one in 3 days  :047:

Took the whole package, exept the ridiculusly expensive oem cases. The fog lights are still on backorder and I ordered a MRA flip-up spoiler for the touring screen. Allready fitted are :

- 12V plug
- touring screen
- center stand
- oem crashbars (or fog light support as they are called  :086:)
- Garmin  Zumo 660 on a Navihalter GPS mount
- Heated grips
- Extenda Fenda on the front and Pyramid Plastics rear hugger
- Starcom Advance intercom
- Givi V35 cases
- Givi top case plate (use it very rarely with my old Givi topcase)
- Givi tankbag (clicks on a tankring)

So here it is, isn't she a beauty ?

Hi Vrom and welcome to the forum.
And about the extras: could you post some pictures about "- Extenda Fenda on the front and Pyramid Plastics rear hugger" ?
I'm thinking about to buy it, but I haven't seen any pictures about how it fits exactly on the CT.
Thanks !
It doesn’t matter the fast you go, but the far you arrive ...
