If you want a proper cruise control just like a factory fit, then the only one that is custom made for our bikes is made in Australia and imported by O.W.L Vehicle Electronic Systems Ltd.  Talk to Toni on 0845 643 0212 or email sales@safervehicles.co.uk
It is not cheap, I paid £750 a few months back, prices fluctuate according to exchange rates. It comes with full fitting instruction and loads of photo's, so it's possible to fit it yourself. I got my local bike shop to fit it for me as i was not 100% confident. For more info, look on line under MCCruise. I choose the slimline control unit, as it fitted nice on the left hand side of the bars, and as mine is dct my hand is free to operate it, the hand brake lever needs to more a fraction right to free up space for it.  I have been using the cruise now for a couple of months, no problems so far it works as it should, great on long runs, and helps protect against speeding points. If you order one make sure you say which transmission your bike has, very important !  Regards Peter.
