Another Newbie
« on: June 10, 2012, 11:21:53 PM »
Hi All,

I will be picking up a silver manual in 2 weeks. I have had 2 great years with a VFR1200. A great bike (10K) and with no problems but I just yearn for a little more comfort. The engine on the VFR is brilliant and very addictive and having test ridden the CT twice, it seems even more useable and better, if that is possible...?

I test rode the Explorer and it didn't 'wow' me. Its comfortable, its got the 'image' but the engine, whilst very useable and capable, just seemed a little bland but that is from someone who has had the 1200 V4 experience...

I look forward to getting my leg over my new steed in 2 weeks.

Before I finish, does anyone know if a fender extender is available and like AfricaJim has mentioned, has anyone out there successfully made up their own rad guard?

Congratulations
It doesn’t matter the fast you go, but the far you arrive ...
