Call me old school, but I bought a bike because I want to ride it.  I was therefore concerned, after having test rode the DCT model that it would take some of the pleasure and craft out of riding.  Very happy with my manual version.  However, since I have purchased, I have met many owners who felt the same as me originally and are now fully converted and would not want to go back.
I am open minded enough to give it another go but at present still happy with the manual version.

Manual for me...I like the idea but I think I would get bored some of the time and regret it.

I feel the same about cars, love the VAG groups DSG gear boxes for a short while...then get bored and want to change gear myself.

Each to their own though  :028:

DCT  'been commuting continually since 2013 - still feels like the future incarnate.  Wonderful machine. And the kids leave it alone unlike my last KTM.

Manual for sure. Just like to work the gearbox. Gives me the added feeling while riding and keeps me on my toes.  :008:
