DCT was a significant factor in trying this bike.

DCT, although I wasn’t looking for it. It’s not as good as manual in slow speed maneuverability (although easier to use), but once you ride DCT in the M setting during a spirited ride, there’s no going back.

I would heartily agree with that statement.  I have lately really started to enjoy manual paddle shifting the big girl.  No quickshifter foot control is quicker than the bar mount buttons!   :082:

Keeping the engine at the top of its power band becomes very easy, and very easy to prolong. Traction is maximized and fuel economy, despite the high spin rate, is incredibly good (probably in some measure as the engine is not made to go up and down over its power curve, having to push past exhaust back pressure and other inherent resistance when being throttle commanded to rise out of its trough). Saves on the brakes, too.
