Just open the throttle fully and the bike  (DCT also) will lift the front wheel with ease.

No, not yet, Just like DCT has been available on cars such at the 911 with PDK for some years. Launch control will no doubt become available on bikes also. Why not? Bring it on, I love technology.

Most bike manufacturers will have DCT available as an option within 5 years. That can only be good news.

I thought I really wanted a DCT, but after riding one.......

Riding a motorcycle for me is all about the experience.  I love the rhythm of "Clutch", "Shift".... and having total, manual control.  I'm not looking for a bike to intelligently do things for me.  I'm not even a fan of anti-lock brakes or traction control.

I am fine with my cages having auto tranny's and making driving easy....  but I simply prefer a traditional experience when I am on a bike.

So..... I purchased a '16 with manual transmission and LOVE IT!
