Greetings from West Country!
« on: May 20, 2012, 03:15:19 PM »
Afternoon All. Dave from Gloucester here. Thinking hard about chopping in my 'Wing for one of these. Took one out yesterday with SWMBO and we loved it. WIll go back Weds and seal the deal hopefully. Digital Silver appeals. Miffed about price of Honda luggage - overpriced for what it is.

Out of interest, does the passenger seat come off easily? Have some throw overs that may do until I can get Givi adapters, coming soon apparently, and want to put the straps underneath this if possible.

Laters,

DB

Hi Dave and welcome to the No. 1 Crosstourer forum.

The Original Honda luggage looks good and fits the bike well - but, WOW, is it expensive. I've gone for the Hepco & Becker Xplorer Topcase - still waiting for the ALU Rack bracket though.

The seat is a 1-piece unit which does come off fairly easily - there is no separate pillion seat, although after-market seats will pop up soon. The seat is comfy though.

I agree with you about the colour - silver is by far the best  :169:

:0461: Silver looks great (I hate everything in silver generally, CT being the sole exception). White is brilliant too imo. All that being said, I will NEVER refuse to ride THIS bike simply because of its color  :152:

:400: Welcome again, enjoy your stay!
